Step 1

In a bowl, mix , finely chopped , and finely chopped .

Add , , 2 tbsp , salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp . Mix thoroughly and set aside.

Layer a baking dish with moistened wonton or dumpling wrappers, then spread a portion of the pork mixture on top. Repeat, alternating wrappers and pork mixture, until all the mince is used. Aim for about 4 layers.

Step 4

Pour 1⁄4 cup water over the top, then place the baking dish in a steamer or over hot water. Steam for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Serve hot, topped with extra and sliced shallots.
