1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp gochujang

salt, to taste

pepper, to taste

skewers, wooden or metal, soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before use

Start cooking
Step 1

Place the rings in a bowl and marinate with 1 tablespoon , 1 tablespoon , 2 tablespoons , salt to taste, and pepper to taste. Mix well to coat evenly.

Step 2

Marinate the for at least 30 minutes for best flavour, but if short on time, you can proceed immediately.

Thread the marinated rings onto the prepared skewers.

Grill or BBQ the skewers over high heat for 3–5 minutes on each side, turning once, until the is just cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the squid.

Plate the skewers and sprinkle with chopped fresh coriander and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
