I often want to make Bircher musli but don’t have apple juice on hand, so the mashed banana is such a good idea! Was yummy and will make again!
Enjoyed the simplicity of this meal and loved making a bit batch to use for the week! I would definitely make it again but found it quite sweet with the bananas and the sultanas so would probably only use one banana next time. Also I suggest using a vanilla protein powder or one will minimal sweetness.

Blending the chia seeds and oats first really helped create a creamy texture without having to wait. After I just added the wet ingredients and mixed in the fruit. It’s a high-protein, high-fibre breakfast that kept me full for a long time, such a great way to start the day!

I've eaten a lot of bircher in my time and this is defiantly one of my favourite recipes. Love the mashed banana in there. Genius! I've been making this weekly and add a few tablespoons whatever seeds I have - linseeds, hempseeds, sunflower seeds. Thanks Goodness to Glow, great recipe.

Super creamy and delicious. A lovely recipe and a great upgrade to my normal overnight oats. I used currants instead of sultanas as I prefer them. Yum!

Great to prep ahead for weekday breakfasts. Made the regular and a vegan version with soy yoghurt - both works well. But please choose the right protein powder for this: I used vanilla whey powder for the regular batch and it dissolved nicely. My vegan sprouted pea protein did not work well in this recipe - it makes the mix so dry and floury.

Thanks for this recipe. I’ve seen it on cafe menus and never tried. I used dried cranberries instead of the dried sultanas. I used a Royal Gala apple instead of the Granny Smith. I used oat milk instead of soy milk. Easy to make and naturally sweet. I didn’t have the protein powder and yoghurt, but it still tasted great and made for a vegan alternative. Definitely will make again and I’ll experiment with other fruits and spices.

I love overnight oats so this recipe was a reminder to make them again! Sometimes it is hard to remember the night before. I enjoyed the variety of fruits it used.
